2000 chevolet Blazer with vortex motor

I can drive my truck to newburgh Lowes and
back to my house twice and eats my gas
fast . I would be put $30 to 40 gas in and
going through the gas fast and i would have
to keep adding more gas ,what causes that
if its not leaking gas ?  My truck is 6 cylinder
and has vortex motor , 4x4 drive , auto.

The 4.3 vortec is a thirsty motor to begin with but a good place to look would be your brakes, if they're sticking even a little and they drag a little they'll hurt fuel economy and power
