Asked by Aug 12, 2015 at 06:18 PM about the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer LS 2-Door 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 blazer and I just dropped down the gas tank and replaced it. It has a full
tank of gas but afterwards I wiped everything clean, went to start the truck it won't it
start. What am I missing, why won't the truck get gas?

Did the tank come complete with a new fuel pump? If not that might be the problem. Try bumping on the bottom of the tank while some one trys to start it, if it starts then the pump is your trouble, if not then you will have to check for fuel pump power and sender assembly grounds.
