is there any way to fix one of the white tips on a fuel pump,
i was puting a fuel pump in my 2000 chevy blazer and broke one of the white tips off,is there any way to fix or rigg it so it will work,i was thinking of a tube to slide into the broken place and try to connect it that way then may put some jb weld on the outside to seal it, ANY HELP
Yes. Replacements with 18 inches of plastic tubing are available for $20 at the parts store.'Dorman' brand, the people that make the stuff in the HELP! display. Buy a $5 barbed brass splice tube, cut-off the old fitting, and splice on the new. --- I would put up a Grand Am link but I don't want to piss off that W body guy even if it is a GM and designed by the same engineers.
if you broke off the plastic fitting on fuel pump moduel, soory to say your shit out of luck, you will have to replace module, if its a plastic feed line they make a repair kit you can buy at local parts store.
cut back a half inch of the plastic fin and attatch rubber fuel line
