Is it safe to add a tranny stop leak to my 2001
dodge ram 1500

The safest thing to do is fix the leak, but if you must use something like that then use TransX. As with any sealer if the leak is just too big they won't work, I have found that if the leak is the front pump seal then it won't work, usually the lip and n the seal has been worn away by a grove in the torque converter flange and will need repaired with a speedy sleeve. HTH
