i have a 2000 dodge ram 1500 5.9l gas I'm having issues with the 4wd every time i lock it in 4L or 4H its like the front brakes are locked up and the rear is trying to push it forward any suggestions?

Has it just started doing this? The only thing I can think of is a bad ring and pinion and or bearings in the front end. You may have to jack it up off the ground and block it then put it in 4 wheel drive and compaired the rotation from front to rear, I'm thinking possibly the front differential or rear differential was changed and The ratios don't match.
