I recently bought a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 4 wd. It's a great truck except when cruising usually around 50 -60 mph the engine revs about every 5-10 seconds by 3000 rpm and the drops back. Any ideas?

Might be the torque convertor and or the transmission starting to slip?
