Im trying to put an automatic transmission
of v6 s10 md8. Serial 8676339 to a 98 s10
pick up truck 2.2 and it has a 4L60E serial
24207965 will it fit and. Work for my 2.2 s10
truck ?

1 Answer

no the 4cyl engine is different than the 6cyl so transmission will not bolt up to engine -- 2.2l is inline --- 4.3l is v formation -- the transmission will work and fit in the truck but you need to put a 4.3l or any small block v-8 recommend an ls1 swap
