My 90 f250 will start but will not idle.

The most common on these Fords was the ISC unit, they either got dirty and the port wouldn't open or the DC motor just failed, pull it off, clean the ports on the valve and manifold, put it back on and then check to see if it idles, if not, then try pulling the codes to see if something else is causing the problem.
