Antitheft

Asked by Tedbarrett38 Oct 06, 2017 at 07:54 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier LS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I can't remove key even
with my remote device
plus gages are disabled

1 Answer

Assuming this is an automatic transmission, with the motor off, push and hold down the brake pedal and put transmission in drive, then put it back in park. Then turn the steering wheel left and right until it locks up. You should then be able to turn and remove the key, About the gauges, check the fuse first.
