i have an f350 7.3 diesel that starts sometimes and sometimes wont start
I can drive my truck for a few days then go somewhere go to start it and it wont start. I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter and the cami sensor and it is still doing it help what could it be
are the glow plugs heatin' up?....how long do you wait before turning the key?
....wild guess....the glow plugs are at fault~
the 7.3 wont light up till it senses 500 rpm or more at the pcm. use lighter oil, strong bats.
The fuel pump on the 7.3 is a high pressure oil driven pump. If you oil level is too low (2 qts out of 14) you may not be getting fuel pressure to the injectors. Thick slow flowing oil will do the same thing.
