Asked by Lane Sep 16, 2018 at 07:13 PM about the 1964 Ford Mustang Convertible RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It has not been driven in 15+ years, It was in good shape when it was last
driven. Minimal rust. But it is kept in a wooden shed in the Minnesota cold.

Restoration costs will depend on the condition of the car and the standard you restore it to. A top flight paint job alone could run $15 grand or more and then there is the rest of the car. A national champion could easily run you over $100 grand in restoration costs. A nice driver could be done for a lot less. Keep in mind your car will be worth less than it costs to restore but who cares? Life is short, enjoy your car! DO NOT PART IT OUT! PLEASE!
