Yes. Is there a security light flashing? I found out the GM theft deterrant system & the pass lock key system fail often & dealers charge a lot to fix. Check out this web site: http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurity help.yolasite.com/ Hope that helps you get it running.

oyu can also cheak for a floating ground see if your fuel relay is clicking when key is turn on

Hello I have a 2001 chevy cavalier and yesterday morning I tried to start my car and turned over the key and it did absolutely nothing.
