How do you find out what your gear ratio is?

mark the tire,turn tire one revolution,while watching the drivesaft for how many times it went around..3 1/2 times 350 your case 3.42 times or > Axle Ratio (:1) - Front : 3.42 Axle Ratio (:1) - Rear : 3.42

Well my rearend went out today so it wont spin the driveshaft at all.


its a 3.42 gear if its stock.

Your rpo codes in the glove box has your gear ratio code. 3.42 is the common one but not the only one. The gear ratio codes start with a G and 2 other digits like "gt4". You can Google them to get the ratio
