My 2005 toyota highlander will not shift into park and I cannot get key from ignigtion

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Tried to put my car in park and it will not go up to that gear, it does hit all the
other gears, I have to leave key in car, and use the emergency brake. ALL advice
will be welcomed. My 2005 toyota Highlander and I thank you.
