replacing front strut parts

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

New struts were put on 8 months ago,mechanic failed to replace strut mounts
and a rubber bushing. My question is can the strut be take out and those parts
be put on car

Yes, the struts need to be removed to replace the mounts and the rubber bump stop. You will need an alignment again as well.
