2 quarts a day? Wow, are you sure you're burning it and not leaking it out some place? How many miles are on the car?

Apparently, the 5'th and 6'th generation Camrys have had this excessive oil consumption complaint. Basically 2002-2011 models. I believe there is a class action lawsuit against Toyota for this issue. Dealers have been zero help in resolving the issue. If I were to guess, I would say that Toyota used faulty or cheap piston rings and valve seals. Most people say the same thing. Car never burned a drop, the suddenly it started burning oil like crazy. My best advice is trade it in before something really lets loose. I have found that the best Camrys are from 1999 and below. I drove a '95 for well over 250k on the east coast and I'm still driving a '99 as well. No major problems with either car.
