Looking at buying a used 2000 camry, trying to estimate the cost of new
suspension

Figure about $110-115 per strut assembly (depending on brand selected) plus labor. Labor rates vary from shop to shop, so call around. How many miles are on the car? You might be looking at more than just struts...could need control arm bushings, ball joints, etc. if it's still got the original equipment on it.
