chech the driver master switch i had to replace mine and it did same thing the best place i found for toyota switches with out paying an arm and leg for them is switch doctor , com

Also make sure that the "window lock" switch on the drivers door master switch has not been pressed accidentally. It has the same affect on the windows.

toyotadrvr: you are a Saint. Thank you for opening my eyes. I bumped the master lock key. (Hours of watching repair youtube videos and not one of them mentioned that.) It's been dark and rainy here so I guess I wasn't as thorough about checking those details....you saved me a lot of time, money, and heartache.
