How do I replace the left turn signal bulb on my '06 4Runner?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So, my left turn signal went out, yesterday. The indicator on the dash flashes rapidly and
no light comes from the bulb out front. I'm hoping someone here can tell me the best
approach for changing it. Thanks,

http://justgivemethedamnmanual.com/?wpfb_dl=1488#page1 --- page 442 of your owners manual shows how to get to and replace the bulbs. If you don't have a manual the link above will give you access to a free on-line version. Hope this helps

Thanks for the quick reply. My problem stemmed from paralysis by analysis (fear?). So, I just got to my desk after finally going outside, opening the hood of my 4Runner, reaching behind my bumper, reaching down behind my battery, finding the general area of the bulb, getting a hand on it, turning it counter clockwise... and viola! I got the burnt out bulb in my hand... truly a 30 second operation! Glad I didn't begin by bumper dissassembly as one respondent suggested. Anyway, thanks again!
