how do you get the rear axles out of a 95 4 runner
Hello, Here is some good information on installing coil spring spacers which walks through removing the rear axles. http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/CoilSpringSpacer.shtml Best of luck! CarGrrl
I know this question was four years ago, but its dead simple. Remove the rear drums. Undo the brake pipes that goes into the wheel cylinders ( pace plastic tubing over the the pipe with a round screwdriver in the end of the plastic to stop all the brake fluifd leaking out. Undo the four nuts BEHIND the axle on the backing plate and voila out she comes. Replace is the opposite way but remember to put a new O ring in the hub, other wise you will have diff oil leaking onto the rear shoes.
