Im trying to do this because after recently jumping another vehicle....then my " reduced engine" speed light came on. I was told by a friend if i can disconnect the + battery terminal....wait 15min. Then reconnect it.....then it will reset my computer?

Unbolt the negative battery cable FIRST, then the positive. BTW, doing this will not reset the computer. You'll have to reset the clock and possibly the radio presets. But that's it. Hope that helps! Jim

Ok ....i was told and also alot of you tube stuff saying only disconnect positive then press horn for 30 sec....leave disconnected for 15 min. I did do this yesterday and it did turn off my reduced engine sign on my dash. And now car is driving fine? So will it come back on?

Ok thanks....i fixed the problem. I disconnected the + and pressed the horn for 30sec. Left disconnected for 15 min. Then re-connected battery. The reduced engine power light is off and has not came back on since
