Wont start i dont know why help me.

I have a 06 chevy cobalt it has 79000 on it now i
can get it to start if it sits for a while but then
nothing it just turns over i sprayed starting fluid it
start s idling then nothing could it be fuel pump.

Regulator? Ed, we've talked about this before... Scan the car for trouble codes and check the fuel pressure. Load testing the battery wouldn't hurt either. That should give you some direction. Don't start replacing things till you find the problem... especially the regulator, the car should start whether the windows open or not.
