Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Chevy Cobalt, at first it was over heating due to a bad water pump and
radiator so I replaced them. Now ever since I replaced those parts my car won't start. It
cranks but the car won't start. I don't know if its due to the wiring in the car or if its
because of something else. The mechanic who did the replacments dosent know what
the problem is. I need help!

You have a lousy mechanic. Did you disconnect the battery when you did the radiator/water pump job? If so you may need to re program the key transponder ..if so we can give instructions on that, let us know

Like the car would start after 6 or 7 times of cranking the car, but once it's on and drovin for a few minutes. I finally turn off the car.. once i try to turn the car back on the car would just crank and crank not turning on. Intel after 30 mins - an hour once the car is cooled down then the car will finally turn on after a few cranks.

dhernandez23, Have you been able to get this resolved since your last post? If not, was your mechanic with one of our GM service centers? Let us know if we can assist! Sarah (Assisting Marlea) GM Customer Care
