The correct GM battery cables for your Grand Prix are (Positive) part number 88987141 (Negative) part number 88987142. These can be ordered at your local GM Dealer, Rockauto.com, gmpartsgiant, gmpartsdirect, or any auto parts store that carries GM or AC Delco parts. Hope that helps! Jim

I have a 06 grand prix gt 3.8 v6 It looks like a new ignition switch was put in and and a used lock cylinder installed in the switch. I have tried the sequence of turning the key on for 10 minutes and off for 10 seconds 3 times and it will not start . The message center still says antitheft will not start.
