Ca will shut off after running for a few seconds

Car will sut off after running a few seconds and the the security light will flash.  Any Ideas

Try using a different key. The key has a chip in it which is programmed to your car. If this one has somehow become de-programmed the car may not be recognizing it and thinks it is a security violation when you start the car. I believe the system is designed to run for a few seconds and then shut down.
