Is the motor bad or is the switch? Try to jumper the motor with a battery to see if it moves. If so you just need a new switch. Otherwise you need to unbolt or unrivet and replace

ah ok wut type of battery do you suggest I use to test that? and if it is the motor do you know any place that I can get a new one pretty reasonable? thanks

You should be able to use a simple 9volt battery and attach it to the motor. It should make it move slowly. The switch the wires to make sure it moves the opposite direction also. A junkyard might have one for a cheap price.
