My turn signals and hazards don't work all the time, they work intermittently but not always, any ideas?

Asked by Aug 03, 2013 at 10:17 AM about the 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix 4 Dr SE Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It's a multi-function turn signal lever and the only problem it has again the intermittent turn
signals, everything else on the lever works, cruise, windshield wipers everything. I've
looked at all the bulbs none of them are burnt out, the fuses and relays all work as well.
I've only checked the fuses and relays in the box under the hood, any other place I don't
know of, I cannot figure out this problem.

Could be a faulty ignition switch as well, the contact start wearing out causing the conditions you have.
