can I Drive my 1997 supercharged GTP with a bad piston on my engine but a new supercharged engine put in*
Blue a piston and the engine but the supercharged just got put in I turn the
corner and I can't go fast I got a floor it to move do I need a new engine cuz I
have a bad piston
well, YEAH! you need a new engine- you could just keep driving it and wait for the loud bang and the little mushroom cloud that will rise from your engine compartment-
Engines shot ... so I wouldn't worry about it but you should pull the SC and put it in another engine
Sadly your engine is done and putting a different engine in an old car like that is simply not worth the money. Also sadly the superchargers on those engines rarely fail so the new one you just put on is relatively worthless too. Having said that, if you're scrapping the car pull the supercharger and put it on Kijijji. You might get a few bucks for it. Time to go car shopping.
