Swap 1993 engine to 2002 Grand Am

Asked by sfpuloka Oct 02, 2016 at 09:14 AM about the 2002 Pontiac Grand Am GT

Question type: General

Piston Slap very noisy in 2002 Grand Am but
has very good body. My 1993 Grand Am
runs very well but in bad body shape. Can I
switch the engines and is it worth to do so?
Sorry not sure of trim but engine is v6 3.3.
Thanks for advice.

lotsa "good bodies" going to the junkyard these days- 'cause they are not worth repairing- accept the inevitable- if this seems harsh, hey, I didn't make it this way- all you can do is buy a classic that is worth rebuilding-
