96 grand am will start then dies immediately

96 grand am then it dies has anyone had this
problem . it's got to be electrical . cam Spencer or
ignition or something else please help

Sounds like maybe a security system problem. If the security light on the dashstays on or is flashing, it's the security system. You'll need to be towed to your local GM Dealer for repairs. Sorry! Jim

has the fuel filter been replaced ? is the fuel rail pressure at 35 psi? is the idle rough?
