1996 audi a4 Quattro stick. front left axle assembly. It matches pics in chiltonguide but 4x we have ordered part-twice based on vin and we have gotten the wrong part are we missing something?

you may have a different engine then specified or the website you are ordering from probably does not know the difference of the parts which is probably the ladder on that one and its most likely the site has no idea the parts very try ordering from this website you should have better luck as its the web site i always order my axles from. http://www.primechoiceautoparts.ca always a good price and always the right part. they manly deal in axles for audi's. and there is 2 types of drive axles one is oil compressed which has a large piston like assembly the standard cheap one is just a regular old metal bar
