Whatever runs the rear of the car to adjust up & down automatically

Drove car to store, when I got back in to go home, car was bouncing up & down
When I got home I realized the rear of my car was very low. It usually adjusts
when you get in and out but didn't happen. What happened and how do I fix it?  
I'm 75 yrs old. 114,,000 miles on car. Only other problem is battery and starting
but I'm reading the tips you gave other people. HELP!!!

The Town Car has an air suspension system to maintain a level ride when weight inthe rearchanges. This sytem is run by a compressor and has air bags for the rear suspension. Somewhere in your system a leak has developed which must be plugged to make the system work. I just had the same problem on my '03 in March 28, 2019. Labor quote was $ 1,250.00 plus parts. Easier way is buy & install coil springs. remove air bags and never worry again. Total cost for kit, new rear shocks & install labor was $ 695.00. Fix it once & fix it right. No noticeable difference in ride or handling with 127,000 miles on car. and insta
