egnition swith hard to turn. Any ideas.

Buy some dry lube such as graphite powder. It comes in a tube that looks like a miniature toothpaste tube. Don't over-lubricate, one short puff should do it. Otherwise replace ignition switch. It is an old vehicle, and it may just suddenly stop working.
