Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I have a 97 Lincoln town car. Just bought it. Was told it
sat for a year and needed a battery only so I got one. But
won't start. I used starter spray and it fired up then died
immediately after shooting a bunch of debris out. When I
tried bleeding the fuel line going to the head nothing came
out (has a quarter tank of gas) any help as to what needs
replaced?
