Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A few months back my car started acting weird. Fuse 4 (LCM) keeps
blowing. From what I was told, It's getting a lot of power ( more then
needed ) to it. Every time we put a fuse in it instantly blows. I have no
power to the dash, radio, clock, interior lights or anything. Headlights
weren't working, but changed the fuse and now it does. The blinkers don't
work. Unless I have the head lights on, but they dont flash. That's just in
the front. They dont work for the back at all, unless i hit the brakes and turn
the blinker on, that light goes out. Now, when I turn my head lights on, my
doors lock. Please help, tell me where to start!

Electrical shorts can be daunting even for hard-core mechanics. The LCM is the light control module. You may have a short with body wire harness, under dash harness, you may have grounded out lights. It really needs troubleshooting to find problem.

Mine is blowing from a short in the digital instrument cluster trying to find electrical diagrams to replace burnt components
