what would cause a hose in the fuel take in the pump to keep braking in a 2003 sierra GMC 1500 4D SWB V8 5.3 motor in a pick up truck

rebild the fuel pump in my 2003 Sierra GMC 4w drive pick up truck and every
time they give me the same hose witch gose on the fuel pump it just brakes
done did it 3 times so i am trying to uderstand why is it braking

How long does it last before it breaks? The fuel pump cut off switch could be defective and the line is breaking due to high pressure

dont even get a mile down the road and it cuts off when take the bed of the truck off again and pull the fuel pump out it is busted

I wold have the pressure on the fuel pump checked because it takes a helluva lot of pressure to blow a hose

Next time the hose gets changed... start the truck up and watch it for 10 minutes

thanks again Tom i will it rain about 30 minutes today when it was put on than waited a little while took it to town and back about 13 miles did good so i got back in the truck and did not even get a mile down the road it cut off

Tom i wanted to let you no the EAVAP fuel tank pressure sensor was bad so we are going to put it on and see how it works thanks for all your help
