i have tried to putgas in my gas tank but once i get to a point it starts to come back up the fuel tank neck and over fill and i dont know wat to do cuz my truck runs fine but i just can put more than 10-20$ of gas than it fills the neck up what is the problem
Sounds like the fuel vent line is clogged.
do u have to get a new one or can u unclogg it
Here's what the vent valve looks like - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dorman- 911-001-Fuel-Tank-Vent-Valve-/130435514599? pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1998%7CMake %3AGMC&hash=item1e5e9000e7&vxp=mtr --- The vent line should be the small black rubber line that plugs into it.
Sounds like your tank is full and your gauge is reading wrong.
