Will adding brake fluid to my tranny give me bk 3-4 gears

I just bought a 94 gmc 1500 4×4.The guy i bought it from
said the trans is junk,i got it home checked the fuses,the
fuse for 3-4 was shot replaced it still no gears,It takes off in
1,2,3,O/D shifts fine 1 to 2nd but will not go into 3 or o/d ive
reset the ecm too.Im at a loss any help would be great

No 3rd or 4th gear, means the overdrive is toast, be it the bands or torque convertor. The seller was right, junk. I hope you got it super cheap, as the transmission needs a rebuild. Adding brake fluid will only destroy it fast.
