Wire hardness replacement

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my hubby replaced his 1995 5.7block to a
1992 1500 5.7 block and he is wondering if you
have to replace the wire hardness also?

Don't know what all the differences are between the 2 vehicles but on doing an engine swap, it's pretty standard that everything to the engine follows it like the wiring harness and ECM. The reason being is that your 95 sensors in your engine might send codes that your 92 ECM might not compute.
