1992 gmc new battery, new alternator. battery goes dead after setting for two days Please help

After putting in a new battery and alternator my battery goes dead in two days.  Anyone out there have any ideas?  Thank

Probably a parasitic draw, why did you change the Alternator no output? was it bench tested or did you check it at the battery for 13.2-14.8volts..how long does it take to discharge the battery overnight or in minutes or hours? I suggest checking ALL grounds and connections AGAIN

shorted diodes in the alt and that took out the battery

tested at the bat, ohm meter showed continuity from disconnected bat terminal on alt to alt case.
