Asked by Jun 19, 2014 at 10:32 AM about the 1992 GMC Sierra 1500 K1500 4WD Standard Cab LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 92 GMC sierra 4WD TBI V8
350 5.7 liter, I just put a brand new
crate 350 in it and about two weeks
after it was out of the shop my two
injectors washed out on my TBI since
they were replaced it has ran like
total crap, it will drive amazing for
about a full hour I have full power
sounds great doesn't miss or
anything then no power at all takes
me a life time to get to 55 mph it
slowly gets worst until the engine
dies it's not OVER HEATING, it start
right back up and surges between
2000 and 1000 rpm the after about 5
minutes of idle it perfect idles at 800
like it should and all power is
restored to my truck for about an
hour then process repeat, does
anyone have any ideas I've changed
the following:
Air filter
TBI
fuel filter
MAP sensor
Computer
Thermo sensor

Please help thanks
