First isolate the problem.Buy a can of carb cleaner ,have someone start vehicle and try to keep it running. Then you find throttle linkage under the hood in engine compartment. If engine has a carburetor ,take off air cleaner, plug any vacumn lines.Accelerate engine at the same time squirting in carb cleaner .I engine picks up rpm's and runs smooth and sounds normal you have a fuel problem .If not, you have a different problem. Its a little more difficult if engine is fuel injected. You would need to drill a small hole in boot over throttle body and inject carb cleaner through your hole you drilled.Best when drilling hole in boot ,remove boot to drill hole so no particles enter throttle body. Then after testing, plug hole.using rubber plug, screw or patch of sort, making sure plug is secure and won't be sucked in carb or throttle body...

You should replace the idle air control valve, and see what happens. The IAC provides air to the engine when you aren't pressing on the accelerator.

First of all,how do you know it's starving for fuel?So you replaced the idle air control sensor or did you replace the Mass airflow sensor?
