a/c is not blowing cold

I had to change the lower suction line that blow a hole. A/C was working fine  
before the line broke. After i replaced the new line now the A/c is not blowing
cold air. How  do i check to see if the clutch is engaging.How do i find the
problem to solve  the A/c to work.

If this is how you work on an AC system, PLEASE don't work on your brakes..... Follow beatupchevy's advice.

You have skipped a bunch of steps in trying to fix your problem, yes take it to the pros and have them fix it.

one must evacuate the system, and do not allow any ambient air in~ the change the filter/dryer and the cabin filter, please allow the "drain tube" to exit the floor/firewall else you'll get the "dirty socks" smell~
