Left side low beam headlight not working

Asked by Dylan Jul 12, 2017 at 04:06 AM about the 1991 Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My headlight switch went out in my car. My low beams
didn't work. My headlight covers that flip open wouldn't
open when I tried turning on my low beams so I had to
use my brights which would cause the covers to flip open.
I replaced my headlight switch, covers flip open now but
my left side low beam headlight does not work. I don't see
how it would work before my switch went out , but after I
replaced my switch, now it doesn't work. I unplugged the
connector to the headlight switch multiple times and
plugged it back in to see if it would work and still nothing.
I was thinking if when I plugged in the connector to the
new headlight switch wrong or at an angle or roughly if I
messed something up that would cause this.
