Sensor lights

Asked by Jan 14, 2017 at 02:21 PM about the 2007 Toyota Prius Base

Question type: General

The car still runs perfectly.... but all
our sensor or warning lights are
on...  tire, triangle, problem,
overheat, VSC, Check engine... what
do we have to do?

1 Answer

Any time a check engine light (MIL) comes on it will turn off certain systems on your Toyota. Those are the warning lights you see. Most likely a sensor has gone out and your car will continue to run fine. I would have someone run the code and find out what it is. If you take it to the dealership get ready to pay. Toyota and Lexus parts are high and the dealer fees are even higher....great cars until they break!
