O/D light flashing 2002 Ford Explorer

I know this is stupid to ask but what
is a servo ?? And what’s the parts
name? Where is it located on the
transmission? Having trouble with my
2002 Ford Explorer o/d light and I am
broke and have three daughters to
take care of. I have no clue what to
do.

I have a 2001 Ford Explorer. The o/d light is blinking. When I put it in reverse it want backup right then but, in a few seconds it will. Is this this a sensor problem? I ho

Did u find the answer? Mone is doing the same. Wont back up. Finally catches. But is reving at same time. And forget backing up a hill.
