93 escort bucks going up hills

Have 1993 escort 1.9 engine.Idles fine.Runs on flats ok.When you start to climb hills it starts to buck and lose speed.Changed gas filter and plugs and wires didnt help.Anyone have any ideas.Thanks for reading

Check the wireset to the spark plugs. Also check the fuel system pressure. it could be that the there is not enough fuel getting to the carburetor or fuel system.
