Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When vehicle is in drive and you begin to stop it
will slam down a gear with a hard hit. We have
replaced speed sensor, that didn't work. Thanks for
the help

might be something internal to the transmission, requiring a rebuild. Not worth fixing it on a '94 Taurus IMO.
