Rpms going down when I turn the a/c on
Hi. I have a 2007 Toyota Camry and the problem I have is
that when I turn the a/c on the Rpms go down and the Ac
fans won't stay on and it blows hot air inside the vehicle.
Might be a Battery/Charging System problem. Do you have access to a digital voltmeter?
When the Engine is running...is the CEL(Check Engine Light) ON?
What could the problem be?
14 volts when the engine is running is good. Sounds like you may have a dirty Throttle Body. Does the engine stall when this happens? Procedure for cleaning the TB is available on line. What Engine is in this vehicle and how many miles on the vehicle?. The AC problem could be the system is low on refrigerant.
How do you clean the dirty throttle? And no it doesn't stall.
Do a Google search ....2007 Toyota Throttle Body. Caution....you might have to perform a "Relearn Procedure" after the cleaning. Did you disconnect the battery recently? How many miles on this vehicle?
Germanjz.....did you ever fix the problem with this vehicle?
