Big bad short

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 2004 dodge 1500 with 4.7. Last year gort
p0340 code  it would start and run but you had to
ease in to it like if throttle  position  was out. Took
to dealership.   They said  timing 180. Off so they
repaired  put all new sensor  and timing chains. Ok
after four months started doing same thing and
overheated. Took back they saif needed water
pimp and various other stuff. Then 5 months later
same shit. Took back the said need new engine  
7000$$$$ i said no brought  home still getting
p0340 code. Ck'd sensors it was good.but when i
ck'd harness  no ground on a hall sensor. Then i
put ohm meter negative  to negative  on battery  
then red positive on a grond point getting 5 volts.
Any where on truck you put volt meter to bare
metel i get 5 volts.     I need help. Thanks

Also ive started disconnecting all ground points but havent found short
